Ido Gotlib, a rising German film director, was born in 1999, in Haifa, Israel. He is currently completing his studies in directing at Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, where he has been enrolled since 2020.

He does films, because he sincerely believes in the power and the importance of beauty of cinema and art. If there would be a phrase that could describe his style, it would be «Are you ready for the experi-mental dilemma?»

Coming from a multicultural background, he loves to bring diverse points of views into his films. His aim is to build a deep empathy between the viewers and the characters.
